Ketrus Collins
President and CEO
A Chicago native, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from DePaul University, Ketrus D. Collins is a data solutions architect with more than 12 years of experience as a business analyst/data architect for mid and large-sized projects. He also holds RFID Certification through CompTia and completed Abinitio Training through the Abinitio Headquarters. Over the years, he has been responsible for creating technical BI and DW design specifications from business and technical requirements. Ketrus has also created enterprise conceptual data models and large enterprise logical models. He has developed software proof of concepts to demonstrate feasibility. These specifications include the conceptual process flow, data flow diagram, physical data model, data capacity estimates, and implementation plan. He has proposed and implemented customized, flexible, cost-effective data solutions for retail, finance, telecom industry giants (i.e., Fannie Mae, TransUnion, CitiGroup, Kroger, Walgreen, and U.S. Cellular).
Ketrus teaches junior data architects how to build software systems while applying the best industry standards. He has the ability to take large scale projects from beginning to completion with minimal or no guidance including analysis, design, technical implementation, and unit test. He has designed and delivered data models, reporting services, and dashboards in response to business requirements. Ketrus currently builds business intelligence solutions drive business value and efficiently and effectively leverage the use of data.
Ketrus believes that everyday actions matter, and is very appreciative to have crossed paths with many great people that had a profound impact on his career and the knowledge gained through the experiences shared. A stout believer in work life balance, Ketrus enjoys cooking, traveling, nature and outdoors, golf, family, and he has a very artistic side that gets expressed in his work.
