Lygase provides web based business intelligence solutions that leverage RFID, RTLD, barcode, Wi-Fi and sensor technologies to track assets, improve inefficient processes, keep costs down, reduce time and provide business visibility where it was never possible before.
Lygase Products Edgeware Application Platform
The Lygase application platform has various functionalities such as device management, data gathering, data processing, and update a central asset management database. The database could be a legacy database or a new centralized database depending on the preferred approach of the customer. For instance, if the customer uses one of the ERP platforms such as SAP the data could be passed on to such systems.
Lygase application platform has capabilities to set up rules to generate alerts based on events. An event could be the value of “the asset dwell time” in a location or could be stock levels of a particular item falling below set thresholds. Our platform has the capability to create business rules based on new processes implemented with the customer’s organization.
An added value in the capability to update legacy systems with information gathered using RFID, Wi-Fi, or GPS. The Legacy system could be proprietary inventory management systems of part of ERP implementations.

Solution Development
The solution development begins with the technology selection process to ensure the most optimal RFID, barcode, GPS, Wi-Fi and sensor technology is used. The technology selection process will be followed by a tag selection and the rest of the infrastructure is built around the tags.
